Do small charities need to pay to continue using Swiftaid?

No. If the free plan meets your needs and you’re happy with an annual claim each April, you can continue using Swiftaid at no cost with a free allowance of up to £6,000 Gift Aid claimed via connected platforms per tax year.

A subscription is only needed if your charity requires:

• Monthly claim submissions
• Record storage
• Audit support
• Higher claim volumes above the free allowance

As a simple rule of thumb, Plus usually becomes better value if you claim more than about £12,000 of Gift Aid above your free allowance in a tax year.

For many smaller charities, the free plan will continue to work perfectly well.
