Swiftaid works with charities and donation platforms to help make missed Gift Aid a thing of the past by removing the burden of admin from charities and their supporters. Having a Swiftaid account means you will be able to add Gift Aid on donations where it would otherwise be missed.
Charities miss out on £564m of unclaimed Gift Aid every year because of the admin surrounding it, we are here to help fix that.
What using Swiftaid means for you:
- Swiftaid is a free service for you, we simply help with the admin associated with Gift Aid.
- You can add Gift Aid to more donations more easily. Swiftaid works with a whole network of different charities, donation platforms and payment providers.
- You will be able to Gift Aid donations that previously would not have been possible, such as contactless and charitable round-up on purchases, whilst also speeding up adding Gift Aid to online donations.
- Where we are able to do so, we will make sure that Gift Aid is added on donations you make via our partners between the 6th of April and the 5th of April.
- You’ll receive an end-of-year statement like the one you received from us recently detailing how much Gift Aid you raised during the year. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, this statement can be used to help claim personal tax relief.
- Your information will only be used for processing Gift Aid on donations you make to charity.
