If your charity is using Give A Little for contactless or digital donations, there’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
Through Swiftaid’s partnership with Give A Little, charities can now check their existing donation data against millions of verified UK taxpayer records to identify eligible Gift Aid, without changing how they collect donations.
This is part of the Great Gift Aid Hunt, helping charities uncover Gift Aid that may already be sitting in their data.
Vicky Hewlett, Head of Marketing Communications at Give A Little says,
“Our goal is to make fundraising as effective and straightforward as possible. By working with Swiftaid, we’re giving charities an easy way to check their existing Give A Little data for missed Gift Aid, without changing how they collect donations.”
The data is already in your Give A Little reports
For Give A Little charities, this is made possible by data that is already included in your reports.
If you’re using Give A Little with Stripe or SumUp, the information needed to enable Gift Aid on contactless and digital donations is already captured as part of your donation data.
That means:
- No additional data collection at the point of donation
- No changes to your existing setup
- No extra steps for your team
Swiftaid uses this data to match donations to verified donors and identify where Gift Aid can be recovered.
How to get started
If you are using Give A Little, follow these steps to see if you can claim your share of missed Gift Aid:
- Check your reports: Log in to your Give A Little admin account and export the campaigns report for the current tax year. You will see a column for the PAR information*.
- Head to Swiftaid’s Gift Aid Finder Guide to understand the full process and follow the steps.
Do not leave Gift Aid unclaimed
The Great Gift Aid Hunt is a simple way to check what you might be missing.
With the deadline approaching on 24 April 2026, now is the time to review your Give A Little data and unlock additional income from donations you’ve already received.
